Weather trend for Regensburg
Regensburg: First sun, then rain and wind – this is how the weather will be in the next 3 days
In Regensburg, Tuesday will start off relatively friendly, but in the evening rain and increasing wind will move in. By midweek, temperatures will noticeably drop – and until Thursday, the weather will remain changeable. All information is forecast values and may shift at short notice, especially regarding precipitation and wind gusts.
Tuesday: Sunny in the morning, rain in the evening – wind shifts to west
Tuesday in Regensburg starts off cloudy. As the morning progresses, it will clear up, then become sunny and at times cloudless. By midday, temperatures will reach up to 26 degrees, with a moderate wind and gusts from the southeast.
In the afternoon, clouds will increase again. In the evening, light rain will set in. At the same time, the wind will shift to the west and noticeably pick up: strong gusts up to 40 km/h are possible. Such gusts often do not occur evenly, but in bursts – typical in weather situations where a change in air masses also increases the pressure gradient and thus the wind. In meteorology, gusts are described as short bursts of wind that are clearly above the average wind speed (definition e.g. by the German Weather Service).
Wednesday: Noticeably cooler, cloudy – north wind prevails
On Wednesday, the weather change becomes clearer. Already in the morning it is cloudy at 11 degrees. During the day it remains mostly cloudy; the highs are only around 20 degrees. In addition, a moderate wind with gusts from the north will blow.
Compared to Tuesday, this is a noticeable drop: from 26 degrees at midday Tuesday to a maximum of 20 degrees on Wednesday – this marks the beginning of a cooler phase, which in Regensburg is also noticeable through more clouds and less stable periods.
Thursday: Only 16 degrees – changeable with showers and gusts
On Thursday, the unsettled character remains. Light rain showers are expected, along with strong gusts again. The temperature will only rise to around 16 degrees.
All in all, the weather will shift within three days from early summer warmth to noticeably cooler, windier, and at times wetter – the friendliest period will be Tuesday morning and around midday.
Pollen: Overall low exposure north of the Danube
For Bavaria north of the Danube (excluding the Bavarian Forest and Mainfranken), a low pollen exposure is forecast for the coming days. For many allergy sufferers, the situation will therefore remain comparatively calm, even though individual types may still be noticeable.
