Roxi Dachau | Events & Rentals

The Roxi at Augsburger Straße 25 is located in the heart of the historic Dachau old town and combines the flair of an urban dance bar with the flexibility of a private event venue. Those who want to dance in Dachau, discover new music, or simply spend a relaxed evening with friends will find a vibrant mix of club atmosphere, bar ambiance, and local cultural evenings here. The location in the old town is ideal: You can easily reach the Roxi on foot from the center, by bus from the train station, or by car, for which there are regulated parking options around the old town. Particularly convenient is that all upcoming events are announced on the venue's social media channels, allowing you to quickly check the program, entry times, and special notes at any time. For hosts planning a special occasion, the Roxi also offers clear, fair conditions for exclusive rentals, including technology and staff. The combination of a charming location, uncomplicated access, and an infrastructure optimized for parties makes the Roxi a reliable address for dance nights, club events, and private celebrations.

Events and Program at Roxi Dachau

If you are interested in the program of the Roxi, you will find the most reliable information directly in the venue's social media announcements. According to the official website, future dates will be published on Facebook. This is convenient for guests because here last-minute adjustments – such as to start times, entry, or themed evenings – can appear in real-time. The content ranges from classic club and DJ nights to special interest formats. An example of the cultural range is comedy sets and open mic nights, which have been announced on relevant event portals in Dachau and have taken place at the Roxi; for instance, a stand-up comedy open mic night was held on March 5, 2026. Additionally, individual guest performances or specials appear in the regional event press, providing you with additional guidance for mid-term planning. It is characteristic that the Roxi does not operate a rigid, monolithic annual program, but rather a curated, flexible lineup that is oriented towards demand and season. For you, this means: Follow the channels, check the announcements weekly, and secure your spot in time when a special theme, a guest DJ, or a comedy act is announced. From a guest's perspective, it has proven effective to arrive a bit earlier for highly demanded evenings, as the old town location offers short distances but, depending on the date, higher demand. If you are traveling in groups, it is worth keeping an eye on the posts for the respective night, as details such as entry windows, dress codes for themed evenings, or notes on potential partner actions are often communicated there. For individual guest performances, organizers occasionally rely on external ticket platforms or advance announcements in city magazines, while classic club nights are usually handled directly at the box office. In short: The program of the Roxi is diverse, current, and social-first – ideal for all who love spontaneity but also want to reliably depend on specific times and notes.

Renting Roxi: Private Events, Conditions, and Equipment

As an event venue, the Roxi offers a clearly structured rental model that is particularly attractive for birthdays, corporate parties, or private events. Exclusive rental is possible from 60 people. There is no room rental fee, which simplifies budget planning. Included in the package are staff, bouncers, lighting and sound systems, as well as final cleaning. This covers the most important components of a professional event without you having to coordinate external service providers. For weekends, transparent minimum sales apply for drinks: €3,500 on Fridays and Saturdays, and €2,000 from Sundays to Thursdays. The venue is available to you for exclusive booking for seven hours, at the latest until 4 a.m. This time window is suitable for both after-work events and evening-long celebrations with dancing. For billing, you can choose between two options: Either guests pay for their drinks directly at the bar, or you as the host purchase vouchers in advance and distribute them; once these are used up, guests switch back to the self-paying mode. The Roxi gives you creative freedom: You can decorate the bar for your celebration as you wish. This facilitates coherent themes, individual color schemes, and personal accents from the entrance area to the dance floor. The already included lighting and sound system saves you separate technical arrangements and ensures that DJ sets or playlists work reliably. Additionally, the central location in the old town is practical: Your guests can easily reach the venue without a car via public transport, and those arriving by car will find structured parking options in the immediate vicinity. The integrated door service ensures an orderly entry and supports you in maintaining the desired guest list and atmosphere. For smooth onboarding, it is advisable to discuss the final guest count, planned schedule, and any special features – such as a short speech, cake delivery, or the switch from background music to DJ set – in advance with the team. This way, you can make optimal use of the Roxi's setup and focus entirely on your guests in the evening.

Directions to Roxi and Parking in Dachau Old Town

The Roxi is well connected due to its location in the old town. Several bus lines lead from Dachau train station to the old town; on weekdays, line 719 runs every 10 minutes from the station towards the old town, on Saturdays until 2 p.m., and on Sundays, lines 720 and 722 serve the old town, among others. Those arriving by car benefit from a well-organized parking concept: The entire old town area is a short-term parking zone, where parking is free for 90 minutes during the day on weekdays with a parking disc. For longer stays, the municipal old town garage at Wieninger Straße 10 is recommended. The first 30 minutes there are free; the garage is operated by the Dachau municipal utilities. The old town garage also offers charging options for electric vehicles, providing e-mobility users with a convenient option right at the destination. Outside the immediate old town zone, there are additional designated parking areas, such as at Ludwig-Thoma-Wiese, which may be interesting for longer evening stays. Due to the historical topography of the old town, some streets have a one-way regulation; therefore, follow the signage, especially if you are approaching from Konrad-Adenauer-Straße or via Wieninger Straße. Tip for navigation apps: Enter Augsburger Straße 25 in Dachau as the destination; in case of high demand, go directly to the old town garage at Wieninger Straße 10 and plan the short walk to the Roxi. If you prefer the public transport option, you benefit from the dense schedule from the station, especially on weekdays, and the last meters through the old town can be quickly covered on foot. This way, you can comfortably reach the Roxi, focus on the evening, and avoid having to factor in a spontaneous search for parking.

Opening Hours, Entry, and Ticketing

The Roxi communicates opening hours and entry windows based on events, which has the advantage of being able to respond flexibly to demand and special formats. For you as a guest, this means: Check the current posts on the day of the event, where you will find start times, entry notes, and possibly thematic peculiarities of the evening. Entry for many club nights is typically through the box office, while individual guest performances are additionally announced on external event pages. The range of cultural evenings advertised in Dachau spans from DJ nights to comedy formats, which occasionally makes fixed show times or moderated stage parts relevant. At the Roxi, the door staff ensures an orderly entry; this service is even included in the package for exclusive rentals. This guarantees safety and a pleasant process without you having to take care of it separately as the host. For planning your evening, it is sensible to include arrival and departure: Use the short-term parking regulation in the old town for shorter stays or park longer in the old town garage; by bus, you can reach the old town from the station in a dense schedule. On dates when the old town is additionally lively – such as on weekends or during events in neighboring cultural institutions – it is advisable to start a bit earlier to organize entry, cloakroom, and the first drinks in a relaxed manner. This way, you won't miss the start of a DJ set or the beginning of a show. Finally, it holds true: Since program and opening notes are communicated social-first, checking the Roxi's channels is the quickest way to obtain current information.

Ambiance, Music, and Guest Experience

What distinguishes the Roxi is the combination of an intimate bar atmosphere and an energetic dance floor. Feedback from guests reveals a common thread: The bar is described as being run in a friendly manner, the staff is considered approachable, and the atmosphere is open and inviting. A renovation has given the rooms a modern yet warm touch, making the transition from an after-work drink to a night of dancing particularly easy. This makes the Roxi suitable for friends of spontaneous club evenings as well as for groups looking for a reliable meeting point with dependable music and lighting technology. Musically, danceable sets dominate during club nights, with genres changing depending on the evening. This allows for engaging both loyal regulars and new visitors who are attracted by a theme, a DJ, or a guest format. The character of the venue remains constant: no overwhelming halls, but short distances between the bar, dance floor, and retreat areas, so you always keep an overview. For hosts, it is also pleasant that the lighting and sound system are already in-house and managed by the team; this way, you can focus on drama and guest service instead of getting lost in technical details. Those who do not yet know the Roxi can start with a relaxed drink at the bar, get a feel for the vibes of the evening, and then move to the dance floor. Especially on busy weekends, it helps if groups meet early to start together and minimize waiting times at the entrance. Overall, the Roxi creates a mix that supports both spontaneous dance nights and planned event evenings – a reason why the venue is perceived in Dachau as a fixed meeting point for going out, music, and private celebrations.

Tips for the Perfect Evening: Reservation, Groups & Neighborhood

If you are planning a birthday party, corporate event, or private party, exclusive rental from 60 people is the most straightforward solution. Since there is no room rental fee and staff, bouncers, lighting, sound, and final cleaning are already included, you can clearly focus your budget on drinks and individual design. Discuss with the team what decoration elements you would like to use and when the ideal time for setup and soundcheck is. For groups without exclusive booking, it is advisable to arrange early and park in the old town garage or arrive via public transport. Within the old town, there are 90 minutes of free short-term parking on weekdays with a parking disc; those staying longer switch to the old town garage, where the first 30 minutes are free. E-mobility users find charging options in the garage, which further eases planning. For entry, it is helpful to check the social media posts on the day of the event, as any adjustments to times, entry windows, and themes are communicated there. In the immediate vicinity of the Roxi, there are other restaurants and meeting points in the old town that are suitable for starting the evening or winding down; due to the central location, the distances are short. If you are planning a highlight with a stage – such as a short speech, an award, or a comedy slot – the existing sound and lighting system ensures that your program part appears professional. The option of drink vouchers is also practical if you want to treat your guests to a quota without running an open bar throughout the evening. Overall, it holds true: With a bit of lead time in choosing the date, a clear decoration idea, and attention to the current notes from the venue, your evening at the Roxi will be well-rounded – whether as a spontaneous dance night for two or as an exclusively planned celebration with many guests.

A real gem in the city! The recent renovation has given this bar a modern and welcoming ambience. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. In the evening, you can not only enjoy a drink here in a cozy atmosphere, but also shake a leg. You can tell that a lot of heart and soul has been put into every detail here. Absolutely recommendable!

In and of itself, it's a really good place to have a relaxed evening. The problem at Roxi, unfortunately, is definitely the bouncers. They're absolutely unfriendly and unprofessional, and most of them get incredibly arrogant as soon as they "see" or "hear" something. They're completely unwilling to listen to reason, and as soon as you question their behavior, they become loud and aggressive. I've heard from so many people that they've had problems with the bouncers. I would seriously consider hiring new staff. Unfortunately, the bouncers are the reason why I won't be visiting this place again for the time being, which is a shame because it's such a good and reliable bar.

Very unfriendly bouncer. Bad vibes. I didn't have my ID with me at first, and he wouldn't let me in (age: 25). Fair enough, I then found a photo of my ID AND wanted to go in with an acquaintance who works there as a bartender. He then said, no ID = no entry. If that were a general rule, then okay, but the photo, someone who could vouch for me, and the fact that ID checks were selective (none of my group of five people were asked for ID) gave me the feeling that entry was also being selective and he simply didn't want to let me in.
