Keeping Memory Alive: Names Against Forgetting

The Return of the Names is a moving exhibition that takes place as part of an ongoing remembrance project. It is presented in the Evangelical Church of Reconciliation on the grounds of the Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial. This exhibition aims to keep the names of the victims of Nazi persecution alive and bring their stories to the attention of visitors.

The exhibition invites a respectful engagement with the past and provides an opportunity to learn more about the individual fates of the people who were interned in the Dachau concentration camp. Visitors can get an impression of the people behind the numbers through names, biographies, and images.

The doors are open daily from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM for interested parties. Admission is free.
